Formerly known as Complete 1 - Early Draw is the same powerhouse blend now with a new look!

One mix that covers all the bases - packed with cereal grains, brassicas, clovers, and legumes like soybeans and peas this mix will bring in deer from bow season through the late season in south/central states or can be used as a great early season mix in the north

This mix has everything but the kitchen sink. From cereal grains to brassicas, to winter peas, soybeans, and clover. This mix will really shine in the South where it will provide highly attractive forage from early to late season. It's hard to go wrong with this much variety. A true composite mix of some of the most preferred cool season deer forages.

In the North, this mix makes a great first half of your food plot plan providing attraction through the early and middle parts of the season but will likely slow down as you approach the late season. Excellent when used in conjunction with our Late Draw mix which is a cold hardier blend that will last through late season in Northern states. This one-two-punch gives deer plenty of options to choose from and can be a killer combo for concentrating traffic on certain plots early vs late season. Plant one plot in Early Draw and hunt there early season and another in Late Draw as a late season hot spot.

Ingredients:

Austrian Winter Peas

Forage Oats

Forage Soybeans

Radish

2 Clovers

How we formulated this mix:

Forage oats and soybeans provides an excellent nurse crop and early growth to help establish radishes, winter peas and clover, all of which become highly sought after by deer as soon as temps start dropping and persist well into winter. A well rounded composite mix full of tried and true favorites well suited to the Southern half of the country or as a early season mix in Northern states.

Everything but the kitchen sink

One bag that covers all the bases, bow season on.

Early Draw (formerly Complete 1) packs cereal grains, brassicas, clover, winter peas, and soybeans into one mix — highly attractive forage from early through late season in the South, and a powerful early-season plot up North.

Pair it with our Late Draw mix for a one-two punch: hunt Early Draw early, then shift to a cold-hardy Late Draw plot as the season winds down. It's a killer way to concentrate deer traffic where you want it.

Built to perform

A composite of proven favorites

Draws early and often
Oats and soybeans jump up fast as a nurse crop while peas, radish, and clover take over as temps drop.
Shines all season in the South
This much variety keeps highly attractive forage on the table from bow season into late winter.
Half of a killer combo
Run it with Late Draw to split early- and late-season traffic across different plots.

Dead simple to plant

Three steps to an early-season draw

1
Prep the seedbed
Disc, till, or plow — or go no-till and just rake/lightly expose the soil. Then smooth and firm it down.
2
Sow the seed
Small seed — don't bury it. Spread it right on the firmed, smoothed soil; ¼" is perfect.
3
Press it in
Cultipack or drive over the plot to press the seed into the soil for good seed-to-soil contact. That's all it needs.
