Mast Magnet works because of the extracts in it. Magnet Dust is those extracts, pulled out and ground into a powder so fine it floats. A light dusting over a bag of corn gives it a flavor and a scent deer pick up from a long way off, so they find your feed faster and keep coming back to it. Shake it out over a camera set with no feed at all and deer still show up to investigate. Toss a pinch in the air from the stand and watch it drift.

Three Ways to Use It

1. Flavor your corn or feed. Plain corn is plain corn. Deer will find it eventually, but eventually can be a week. Dust the corn as you pour it and the pile smells like something worth walking to. Deer find it faster, eat it harder, and come back more often. Works in a pile, a trough, a gravity feeder, or a spin feeder.

2. Camera and scouting sets — no feed required. Shake a heavy dusting on a stump, a log, a licking branch, or the ground in front of the camera. Scent goes out, deer come in to investigate, and you get pictures. There's nothing to eat and nothing left over, so it's clean, quick, and easy to move to the next spot. Refresh after a hard rain.

3. On the wind from the stand. The powder is fine enough to carry hundreds of yards on a steady breeze. Shake a little downwind from your stand and let it work as a curiosity scent and a cover scent at the same time. Nothing goes on the ground, so there's nothing to pick up when you leave.

A note on regulations: Magnet Dust puts scent out without putting feed out, but the rules on attractants vary by state and by season. Know your state's definition of bait before using any attractant at a hunting site. Please use responsibly.

How Much to Use

A little goes a long way. For feed, a light, even dusting over each 50 lb bag as you pour is plenty — roughly 3/4 oz per bag. For camera sets, shake until you can see it on the surface. In the wind, a pinch at a time. It's concentrated, so more isn't better; more often is.
